Welcome Party – Nightmoves (Brooklyn)
Nightmoves is in Williamsburg. It's easily accessible by subway from Manhattan or via cab. If you're staying in Union Square, the L train makes getting to Nightmoves especially simple.

Keens is located at 72 W 36th St, New York, NY 10018 in Midtown. Most trains are close by and it's fairly easy to cab there as well.

Hotels
New York City has a million hotels, but we recommend these areas:
- Union Square and West/Greenwich Village - This is where we live! It's a lively area with lots of restaurants and bars.
- Chelsea/Herald Square - Lots of hotels in this area, and it's a short walk or quick subway ride to Keens.
Frequently Asked Questions
What should I wear?
Friday night we want you to be comfortable for hanging out and dancing. Just a step above everyday casual for the late May weather. Think nice pants with button-downs, blouses, dresses, sweaters. No need for heels unless you like to dance in them.
Saturday is formal attire. Dresses should be midi length or longer. Ties required with suits. If you want to wear a tux, go for it, but not required. Feel free to embrace classic, timeless colors that complement Keens' historic charm.
What time should I arrive on Saturday?
Please arrive by 5:45pm so we can start the ceremony promptly at 6:00pm. Traffic and the subway can be unpredictable, so we recommend leaving early.
Can I bring a guest?
Only those named on your invitation are invited. Due to venue capacity, we're keeping the celebration intimate. If you're unsure who was included on your invitation, please check your RSVP form.
Are kids invited?
Unfortunately our venues are not kid-friendly. The welcome drinks will be at a bar, and Anthony Bourdain described Keens as "one big bar with really gigantic bar food."
Will there be an open bar?
Yes! Both Friday and Saturday events will have open bars. For those not partaking, Nightmoves has a great N/A selection, and Keens serves up its own house-made non-alcoholic beverages.
Will there be dancing?
Dancing is prohibited by New York City regulations at Keens, but wear your dancing shoes to Nightmoves!
How late will the party go?
The reception officially ends at 11pm, but we might head somewhere nearby for after-party drinks!
What's the weather usually like in May?
New York in late May is typically mild and pleasant, with temperatures in the 60s-70s. We recommend bringing a light jacket for evening.
